Andrew Liskowitz

When did he start?

Andrew started throwing as a freshman at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, New Jersey. He was a 31 footer his freshman year!

How did he get so damn good?

Andrew was a former hockey player trying to find his place. CBA has high standards for their athletes and he wanted to do well. I knew we were onto something when he sent me videos of him throwing in his driveway. He worked beyond what we ask of him!

What is Andrew doing now?

After finishing 6th at the Olympic Trials, Andrew continues to train for the 2024 Olympics in Louisiana!

Emma Vasen

When did she start?

Emma started her sophmore year. Her first day throwing she power threw 21 feet! By that winter she glided 35ft!

How did she get so damn good?

Emma busted her tail to get work done. She was very aware of what needed to be done. On top of that she got real strong! Her Full Clean was 225lbs, Bench Press 245lbs, and squat was 275lbs! She was a very strong woman!

What is Emma doing now?

She just qualified for the NCAA Championships and graduated from Yale. She will be continuing her education and training at UNC and working towards the Olympic Trials!

Luke Grodeska

When did he start?

Luke started with me as a sophomore. He quickly improved his technique with the glide and threw a 6ft pr from indoors to outdoors.

How did he get so damn good?

Luke started learning the spin during the summer of his sophomore year. By the end of his junior year he improved 10ft! Much of his success was due to the extra work he put in on his own. Also, he is a surfer. He knew how to feel the ground and transfer his energy across the circle.

What did Luke do after High School?

Luke went on the Penn State University and excelled in the hammer throw with a personal best of 212 feet!

Nick Vena

When did he start?

Nick started around 6th grade.

How did he get so damn good?

Nick's father Vic, was a thrower and would bring Nick to his Masters competitions. I truly believe that early influence was a big reason for his success. Outside of his size, Nick would throw for hours and hours. That repetition and being a student of the throws is what helped him to be the NJ Record Holder and one of the United States best HS throwers of all time!

What did Nick do after college?

Nick trained with me one on one after college and had many competitions over 67 feet with the 16lb shot put. Today Nick is teaching and coaching at Moorestown High School!
